EarthShare Georgia offers citizens one smart and simple way to care for our air, land and water. As Georgia's only dedicated environmental fund, EarthShare partners with Georgia businesses and employees to support 60 leading environmental groups through workplace campaigns, Earth Day and other activities.

EarthShare Georgia plays a vital role in promoting environmental education, volunteerism and charitable giving by partnering with businesses across Georgia. Since its founding in 1992, employees across the state have generously pledged their financial support and time to the important work of EarthShare's 60 member organizations. These contributions are growing exponentially as more and more businesses move to place the environment alongside United Way and other approved charities as a key recipient of annual employee payroll pledges. EarthShare now participates in more than seventy government and corporate campaigns including: Cox Enterprises, Inc., The Home Depot, Kaiser Permanente, Emory University, Turner, City of Atlanta, the Combined Federal Campaign and the State of Georgia.

EarthShare Georgia was originally incorporated as the Environmental Fund for Georgia, a non profit 501(c) 3 organization. In 2001, the Environmental Fund for Georgia became a state partner of EarthShare, the nation's oldest and largest environmental workplace fundraising organization. Now, thanks to this partnership, EarthShare Georgia represents not only the best of Georgia's environmental organizations, but the most reputable in the nation, as well.
